Born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida—Palm Beach to be exact—Pastor Rob felt a call to ministry that led him north to Canada. He traded palm trees for snowflakes and earned a degree in Religious Studies from Burman University (formerly Canadian University College).
From the start, Pr. Rob has been deeply involved in ministry. In Florida, he served in Pathfinder Ministries, led weekly community service projects, and organized humanitarian efforts in Haiti through his non-profit, Men Anpil Chay Pa Lou (“Many hands make the load lighter”).
For the past 11 years, he has served in the Alberta Conference, pastoring at Edmonton West, Edmonton Central, African Fellowship, and most recently, Sherwood Park SDA Church. Now, as the Youth & Young Adult Director, he’s on a mission to uplift and empower the next generation of leaders.
When he’s not preaching or leading, you’ll likely find him at the gym, lost in a good book, or enjoying the lunch special at Padmanadi.
Pr. Rob is passionate about leadership, personal growth, and youth ministry. He is married to his best friend, Thaksheela, and together, they are committed to keeping the gospel real, relevant, and at the heart of everything they do.

Pastor Emmanuel (aka Pastor EJ) was born in Winnipeg, MB, and graduated from Burman University in 2018 with a degree in pastoral ministry, specializing in youth leadership.
With over two decades of camp ministry experience (starting at just 13!), he’s all about the outdoors. If he’s not leading, you’ll probably find him hiking, fishing, or tackling a new DIY project. An amateur guitarist and aspiring grill master, he’s currently on a mission to perfect his steak-cooking skills.
Above all, Pastor EJ loves Jesus and is passionate about helping others see God’s beauty in creation.

Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Janeth’s journey is one of empowerment and transformation. Her passion for clubs, children’s ministries, and youth leadership began early when she experienced their life-changing impact firsthand. After becoming a mother, she dedicated herself not only to her own children but also to nurturing those around her.
With over a decade of experience in leadership and early childhood education, Janeth thrives in creating safe, inclusive, and dynamic spaces where young hearts flourish. She’s led impactful children’s and youth programs, developed educational curriculums, and trained leaders—all with the goal of inspiring and equipping the next generation.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Janeth holds an EMT–Paramedic degree from Adventist University in Medellín. When she’s not leading or mentoring, you’ll find her running, camping, traveling, or diving into a good podcast.
A proud mom of two teenagers (and a playful Goldendoodle!), her greatest dream is to see children and youth transformed by God’s love. Janeth is also assist with: Club Ministries, Children’s Ministries, Youth Sabbath School
